Presently the group is engaged in manufacturing and exporting of HDPE/PP WOVEN FABRIC/SACKS/INDUSTRIAL LINERS/NONWOVEN FABRICS in WEST BENGAL and TEXTURISED POLYSTER YARN/BOPET SEQUENCE ROLLS in GUJARAT headed by Mr.J.C.Agarwal and Mr.S.S.Jindal since its inception in 1972.The company and has progressed in leaps and bounds .

Board Of Directors:

Mr J.C.Agarwal : (B.Com,LLB,FICWA,ACS) - Group Chairman,has got a long working experience with a very large Industrial houses.Currently he is the executive member of The Bengal Chambers Of Commerce And Industries,a prominent organisation of the Eastern India ,associated with Chambers in the international level and various PHILANTHROPIC ISTITUTIONS.He is the PAST PRESIDENT of India Plastics Federation(IPF),An association representing PLASTIC INDUSTRIES of Eastern India.

Mr S.S.Jindal: (M.COM,LLB,DBM)-He is the co-founder of PRATAP GROUP.He is managing various day-to-day activities of the Group.He is associated with various chambers and Social Institutions.He is the Chairman Of Haryana Charitable Society Trust Board

Mr Sunil Agarwal : He has got 28 years experience in managing the entire production and marketing for the kolkata operations.He supervises the product development ,business development etc.He Is the Vice-President Of All India Flat Tape Manufacurers Association.

Mr Sudhir Agarwal:He has got 27 years of experience  in the group.He Managed the Manufacture of Fan For USHA from 1987 to 1992.The Gujarat operations was set up under his leadership in 1992 and the group has achieved a good position.He is associated with many social institutions in Gujarat.

Mr.Sanjiv Jindal: He is looking after day to day operations of the Group in Gujarat .He is associated with the group since 1990.He has a good grip on Finance , Marketing and Human resorurce management .

Mr.Vineet Jindal:He is associated with the group since 1996 and looking after the key areas of Product Development and other Techinical aspect of the group.

Our Business

Kolkata Unit:

Presently we have 4 manufacturing units in Kolkata(distt Howrah),West Bengal in the name of PRATAP SYNTHETICS LTD,PRATAP POLYSACKS LIMITED and HISSAR UDYOG P LTD with the manufacturing capacity of :

• HDPE/PP Woven Fabrics/Sacks capacity of 15000 MTPA
• Nonwoven fabrics capacity of 4500 MTPA
• Lamination cacpacity of 1500 MTPA
• Industrial liner capacity of 1200 MTPA

Surat Unit:

We have 2 manufacturing unit in the name of Pratap Filamaments ltd,

• Texturised Polyster yarn capacity of 12000 MTPA
• BOPET Sequence Rolls capacity of 1200 MTPA
